Post 1: Why I Read(Updated Version)

Why I Read.

Why do I read? There are multiple reason why I read; it could be for just pure enjoyment or just out of shear boredom. In fact I do more enjoyable reading than reading out of boredom. Books are a way I can express what I enjoy. It could be anywhere from a non-fiction book to a fantasy book. If I had to choose one of the other I would choose non-fiction; especially a history book. I really do enjoy reading about not only America’s history but history around the world, major wars, medieval time, tragic world events, and anything that involves me learning about the countries around us. I will also read fictional novels to let my wander into the world of imagination, Its good to let yourself live a little. Most importantly I read to gain knowledge, not only can reading expand your vocabulary, but it can help you become a better reader and a faster one too. Take on books that someone of your age wouldn’t really be interested in reading; give yourself a challenge to expand you reading capacity. I also enjoy diving into a good book; getting into a series of books where I could go on for months at end reading the same series, always waiting for the next book to come out and on the down time I find other books the author has written. That is why I read.
